This is where my healing began after my horrific injury from the chiropractor who was listed on the Sport Canada Centre Ontario website. Medication did not help and doctors could not help me. My family doctor said it was like a "miracle" after I returned home in January 2011. Six weeks later, I was on a plane to Budapest where with the help of the hotsprings there as well, I was able to resume training and in April 2011, I was top Canadian in two back to back competitions in Budpaest, defeating the fencers who were now on the National Team and putting myself back on the HPP.
